While Point Pleasant Beach is a classic shore town with a boardwalk, dense blocks of older beach homes, and a seasonal rental market. Point Pleasant Borough, further inland, is a suburban community with larger homes, bigger lots, and a year-round family population. We work in both, and our projects reflect the differences between them.

In Point Pleasant Beach, we see a lot of bathroom and kitchen renovations in homes that were built in the 1940s through 1960s. These properties are small, the layouts are tight, and many have been partially updated over the decades in ways that do not meet current code. Full renovations here often involve upgrading electrical panels, replacing galvanized water lines, and reconfiguring layouts to get more out of the existing square footage.

In the Borough, the work tends toward larger-scale projects. Home additions, finished basements, and whole-home renovations are more common on the bigger lots along the Herbertsville Road and River Road corridors. Families in these neighborhoods are investing in their current homes rather than moving, and they want the work done to a standard that justifies the cost.
